Lambda World Cádiz 2019

47 Degrees is a global consulting and development firm helping companies modernize their legacy applications to be real-time, secure, and responsive, by using battle-tested functional programming and cutting-edge technologies like Scala, Spark, Kafka, Akka, Cassandra, Kotlin, and Flink.As community advocates, 47 Degrees actively supports the active development of projects like Arrow for Kotlin, Freestyle, and Scala Exercises. As part of their community efforts, they organize and host Lambda World Cádiz and Seattle, functional programming conferences focused on learning and expanding knowledge and networking in the field.

The 5th Annual <A HREF="http://www.lambda.world/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lambda World</A> will be held October 17th - 18th, 2019 in Cádiz, Spain.
Over 600 attendees will gather together for two days of talks, hacking, and networking at the Palacio de Congresos in the heart of the historic city of Cádiz.
We kick things off on Thursday, October 17th with an unconference, workshops, and an opening keynote.
Friday, October 18th will feature two tracks of presentations by some of the most dynamic speakers in the FP community covering a variety of functional programming topics.

To conclude (until next year) what is sure to be an incredible two days, we're hosting a party at Castillo Santa Catalina which is an old castle in the middle of downtown Cádiz with live music, food, drinks, and a guarantee of a good time.
